Vancouver, British Columbia | Maytag A 207 | N/A | Timer was recently repaired.
After installation, the timer operated to point of filling tub with water but did not start agitation.
Now when I tried to restart the time or turn to any position on the control dial I hear not valves opening nor major motors starting but I do hear the timer motor humming at some points on the control dial. There seems to be a problem with high current electricity transfer that may not show up on a low current test.
These are the same symptoms that I had before sending the timer in for repair.
If you have a new timer in stock, I think that I would prefer that. I recall that I had a similar problem a number of years ago that a new timer fixed. | Beyond Repair |
