Wellfleet, Massachusetts | GE | | none | Keypad seems to function properly, allowing all settings, but elements do not heat up. Display returns to the clock display after about 30 seconds, and the setting for the oven temperature disappears. Can sometimes get the oven to work if two keypad buttons are depressed together, and then just the desired one is depressed alone. If a clicking noise is heard as the keypad is depressed, the oven will fail to function as above. If that noise is absent, the elements work properly. | Repaired |
Beverly Hills, Michigan | General Electric | Monogram Built-In Wall Oven | none shown | The bake element does not power up. The temperature will indicate 100 deg and stay there. All other functions work. This is a replacement board for my original, which would not clean. I put the original back in and the bake does work with the old board so it seems to me it is the board. | Beyond Repair |

Hilliard, Ohio | General Electric | JKP16GP2BG | F3 | The F3 code is intermittent, the card did experience a ground short one year ago but worked well until a week ago. That is why you will see new soldered wire on the board since the foiled stips were damaged.
I replaced the temperature sensor, thinking it was bad since I thought I could impact the failure by using a heater to heat the sensor. A new temperature sensor did not clear the F3 code. | Beyond Repair |

Also, previously (when it did operate properly), when convection bake or broil was selected, I would smell circuit board or some electronic component getting hot, so i would not use the oven in that mode. | Repaired |

Wellfleet, Massachusetts | General Electric | JKP16G0P4BG | none | Problem began w keypad tone sounding intermittently. Progressed to timer sounding 3 time at end of timer cycle but then shutting off, rather than continuing to sound as per normal timer operation. Progressed further to bake or conv. bake functions shutting off randomly and intermittently mid-cycle. Restarting cook function sometimes holds for the duration of the operation, but sometimes shuts off repeatedly. Cutting power to oven to reset sometimes helps for a while, but intermittent shut-downs return eventually. This ERC was repaired by you in 2008 and has worked flawlessly since. Hope you can repair or replace again. Thanks. | Repaired |
Burleson, Texas | General Electric | JKP16GOp3 | None | Trying to turn oven on and it shows 100 degrees but it never starts. Just goes back to the clock after 30 to 60 seconds. Wellfleet, Massachusetts | General Electric | JKP16GOP4BG | none | This timer was repaired by you in 2008 and again last year (2022). It's acting up again: goes off in the middle of a bake cycle. Killing power at the breaker for a minute or so seems to reset it for a while, but it probably needs repair or replacement again. Please replace with a new timer if possible, or with a reconditioned timer if possible, or repair this timer as a last option. As this one's been repaired twice, going for either a new or reconditioned one might be a better route, if that's an option. Thanks. | Beyond Repair |
