Hamilton, OntarioOven stopped - bake & broil not working. Clock panel is normal, the oven light & convection fan are operational. I spoke with service today and was told there are no reconditioned timers in stock & was quoted $255.00 for a brand new timer which is less than the original $325.00. I was informed this cheaper timer will provide the same functions as the other & is less because my stove has manual burner knobs. What are my options if this is not the case?Replaced with new in-stock timer

I have Frigidaire Galery Series flat top electric oven. Both bake and broil elements stoped working. Display still shows them on. Convection fan is working. When I set bake ON and press start I can hear the electrinic module switching element on - but no heat is comming.
My Frigidaire cooker model PGLEF385CS2, Serial # XXXXX went bang last night and tripped the fuse box. I reset the fuse and the elements work fine, but the oven and grill don't work. The main digital display flashes numbers in the top left corner (hour of the clock) and 'or' is displayed on the top right. I replaced the 2x 15amp fuses on the top but that hasn't helped.
I have a frigidaire oven, the broli and bake elements are not working. The indicator sets temp and time but nothing heats up. It worked fine yesterday. the convect fan also works? would it be both elements at same time?
Hi there: This is a great forum, I just can't seem to find someone that has put up the same specific info that I have in order to create a good diagnosis. I live in Fort McMurray, home of the Oil Sands, and a northern city with little in the way of service repairfolk. Our landfill gets a lot of appliances that just have popped relays, etc. because it is cheaper to buy knew than to diagnose and fix or there is just no one to find to fix. So anyway, my problem. Went to start up my Frigidaire Smooth top oven tonight, (Bake @ 400F) and as I walked away from it I heard a pop and could smell a bit of burning. The circuit panel didn't break, and the oven panel went dead. Unplugging and resetting the panel breaker as options didn't change the scenario. All of the oven burners work, oven light works, etc. Just can't instruct the oven to turn on. I looked at the oven burners and found no instances of burning or welding. Took off the back panel and got a good woof of burnt stuff, so I am thinking
troubleshooting oven i have a electric oven.model#pglef385cs2 it is a frigidaire electrolux gallery series. 3 yrs old. when we turn on the oven say at 400 degrees it starts to heat up. then it will start beeping and give a f1 error code. in order to stop the beeping you have to open the oven door and keep hitting cancel. one thing i have notice while the door is open when the beeping starts the light will go out. i would appericate if you could help me out.
