My GE Model # JBP65GS1WH The Oven doesnt turn off...its the top element...in fact, the control knob can be dialed to the off position but its still on. So, what should I do
I have an older GE oven, model number JBP65GS1WH. When we turn on the oven, the lower heating element will not come on at all. Instead the upper - broiler - heating element comes on. Turning the knob to to the broiler setting works just fine, but turning it to any oven setting causes the broiler element to come on as well. Any ideas as to what part could be malfunctioning so I can possibly repair?
my oven will not come on and the clock and control panel will not work only shows one number (random). When I unplug it and plug it back in then the display works long enough for me to set the clock and then it goes out again. Model #JBP65GS1WH
