I recentely changed the electronic control board on my oven; no problems, ovens are working fine. On Sunday, the upper oven was in self cleaning mode when a PF error message appeared; the oven locked itself until the clock cleared. We used the oven for cooking that night with no problems. On Monday, when attempting to initiate the bake sequence on the upper oven, the temperature appeared as 350 F and the time appeared as 6:30; shortly thereafter, the control board beeped and flashed, and the PF error appeared. I tried to reset the oven and clock numerous times, but the same error continued. I was able to use the lower oven without any problems. Please advise as to how I should proceed with my trouble shooting.
My whirlpool double oven accubake GBD307PDS09 display went blank then beeped. The oven does not turn on but when I tried to turn it on just to test it, it beeped once and then three short beeps. I have tried the breaker and still nothing. Thanks for your help.
My whirlpool double oven accubake GBD307PDS09 display went blank then beeped. The oven does not turn on but when I tried to turn it on just to test it, it beeped once and then three short beeps followed and then nothing. I have tried resetting the breaker and nothing happened except beeps. I have never used the self cleaning as I have read it's the quickest way to kill ovens. I had just finished reheating something in the oven for 15 minutes and after I turned it off, it did the beeping thing and the display went dead. Please help! Thank you kindly!!!
I have a Whirlpool Gold double oven and someone came to house and told me it was a circuit/control board. The G6 F2 error came up for a few weeks now totally dead. Over 1500 are on backorder not coming in until around Dec. 10th and that isn't saying they will get the 1500 sounds like I might need to wait until end of the year. I read that they are having problems with the PN#W10244191 connector?? Do I order the part, is the an easier way to fix this or any tricks. Model is GBD307PDS09. Any help would be wonderful.
Ran the clean cycle last night and today the oven is dead. I have read a few posts and it seems that is not a good thing for these ovens. After the clean cycle the display showed the clock and the "PF". I hit cancel and everything seemed okay. My wife started baking some Christmas cookies this morning and everything was fine until she turned on the bottom oven then she said all the segments on the display lit up and she got lots of beeps then nothing. I took apart the display (already replaced one controller board) and there was a fired IC on the board so I went out and got a new controller board. Still no display. I checked all the connections, thermal fuse, and the transformer (blue side has continuity ) and red side has 120vac. Could the issue have blown the display? Any way to test?
Whirlpool Double Oven Model GBD307PDS09 - After pre-heating, display fades in brightness until it becomes totally black. No indications of time or status of oven. Display totally black. After turning off, display returns with clock time indication.
Have seen this problem posted several times, but ... The upper oven stopped working. Everything works perfect except no heat from top or bottom element. Control panel works perfect, clock is fine, preheat displays, time bake, everything! I replaced the back thermostat # 4451442 with part # 37 from this site (it is called thrmst-fix, part looks a lot different from original, but I trusted it) ... no difference. Now what? I really dont want to get Whirlpool out here - I am 45 minutes to closest repairman. It is my understanding if the control panel thermal fuse blew, then the control panel would not be working, correct? It seems odd that both elements would have went bad at same time, but keep in mind that I know nothing about this stuff. I just have a repair manual and follow directions well!
I have a Whirlpool Model GBD307PDS09 Convection Bake oven. I cannot get the oven to turn on or for anything to show up in the display. The light works so I no that there is power and it beeps whenever buttons are pressed. Any suggestions?
I have a Whirlpool model GBD307PDS09 oven. Control board has been replaced due to problem. Everything seemed fine after replacement but upper oven will not work. It will turn on fan, change the temperature, and act like it is working but no heat. Checked thermostat/fuse on back of oven and it is fine. Could the problem be in the control panel?
I have a double oven model: GBD307PDS09 Serial Number: XR0408495 Display is out. Oven light operates. Oven beeps when buttons are pushed. When I push the Start/Enter button to turn on either oven, I get a beep code. Do you know what it means. It is. Short - Long - Short - Short - Short. Thanks
Hello, I have a Whirlpool Gold GBD307PDS09 on which the control panel display light/led is now very dim. Can I replace a light and if so how do I get the control panel off of the oven? Thanks, Larry
I have a Whirlpool Gold double oven (model GBD307PDS09). The display panel isn't working. When I press a button, I get one short beep, one long beep, and three short beeps. None of the manuals give any information for beep codes, only error codes. Since the display isn't working, that's not much help? Thanks for any help you can give!
MODEL #GBD307PDS09 SER# XXXXX MY OVEN IS NOT WORKING . IT IS NOT THE BREAKER. WE HAVE CHECKED IT FOR THAT. THE ONLY THING THAT WORKS IS THE OVEN LIGHT. THE CONTROL PANEL IS BLANK. WHEN YOU PRESS THE CONTROL BUTTONS THEY DO BEEP , BUT THEY ARE NOT LIT UP. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
GBD307PDS09 Whirlpool Gold double oven. Can the contol panel be replaced without a service technician?
I have a Whirlpool double oven GBD307PDS09. During self cleaning top oven, the oven died...display is blank and top oven locked. Tech came out, took a very close look (no multimeter, etc.) and basically said teh control panel needed to be replaced. He checked and said that the whirlpool part is discontinued (backordered to 2020?) and that I basically needed to replace the oven. Before spending $2000+ I want to be sure there is not something else I should be looking at. I tried tripping circuit breaker in the garage but no luck. Am I in for an expensive week?
