CALGARY, Albertatemperature is difficult to set, temperature kept rising.Repaired
Calgary, AlbertaThank you in advance for attending to my oven timer. As discussed with Howard, oven is not heating up to set temperature. Time and temperature display appear to be working properly. However, when we set the oven to 350, oven starts as normal during preheat and bake element turns red but even when display shows 350 reached, temperature inside the oven is not 350 at all (about 170 when we tested a few times). Also, the display shows the temperature starting around 200 when we start the oven and going up to the set temperature of 350, but the tested temperature is not 350 inside. (For example, my wife would bake muffins for the kids, and the muffins would stay white and not completely cooked at the set temperature of 350 even when she leaves them in the oven longer)Repaired

Intermittent alarm We have a model 9875VRV magic chef range. There is an intermittent alarm (maybe once or twice a day at random times). The window displays -F1- Can this be repaired, other than replacing the whole electronic unit?
I have a magic chef oven. It gets hot but hot enough and not to the right temperature. Could the thermostat be bad ?Model 9875vrv
I have a gas oven- about 15 yrsold. Modle 8975VRV SER: 04C342436429 Occasionally the "beeper" will continue to go off every five to fifteen minutes. The error message is -F-1. I usually start by just hitting the "off" button. This might work for a while. If not I turn off the breaker for the oven and leave it off over night. This will often reset it. The oven works fine. It is just that we need to get the "beeper" ot stop going off. Note: this time - befor it started, I used the self cleaning cycle. But this is not always the case. Can you tell me how to get this "beeper" or clock to stop going off so I can keep my oven hooked up to power? Thank you- XXXXX XXXXX
I have a magic chef oven. The thermostat has gone out. The model #9875VRV is 16 or 17 yrs old. Do they still make thermostats for this model?
